  • If you look back in history, even recently history you will understand.

    If there is a war in Singapore, I'll book in, draw arms + ammo and return home to protect my family. I have heard stories of how hundreds of viet boat people were killed just because they have bar bars and not guns.

    Indonesians chinese ladies were gane raped during the 97 crisis in the capital city just because the chinese men have no guns. They are rich but had no guns.

    It is a human right to ensure safety for their own life and that of their families.
  • Good point. I guess when the need arises I would be packing a few rounds myself, but if the government made gun-ownership legal in Singapore, would I have a collection of firearms in my house? Probably not.
