  • First time I heard the name 'jerk chicken' I thot the chicken is really a jerk.

    All I know is that if liquor is used in cooked food, the alcohol evaporates [basic science lah] but whether it is halal or not, that i dunno. Not sure what is the alternative ingredient for rum... at least from what i know if wine is used, white grape juice or chicken stock can be used as alternatives. Doesn't make sense to use chicken stock on jerk chicken, eh... Time to Google.
  • Ah, do try the recipe out and tell me if it's any good. Then I can order my chef to make some for me. :D
