KFC’s Attempt At Vegan Sandwich - FAIL!

KFC in Canada has introduced a vegan sandwich, probably in order to capture the vegetarian segment of the fast-food consumer market (or it could be because of PETA’s relentless pressure against the company).

  • Actually, if we hve vegan sandwich in Spore, it will look and taste like a begedil sanwich ;).
  • I don't consider any 'sandwich' without meat or fish a sandwich.
  • Wat's in the patty? Burger in the pic looks good, but they're always good with the pics anyway, not with the actual food.
  • It drives me nuts when businesses stray from their core competence and try to appeal to everybody. You can be sure anybody going to KFC is not into vegan food and there already are more than enough vegan restaurants and stores out there, so just leave well enough alone.
  • The fact that KFC has introduced a "vegan" option in their menu is almost insulting to me. regardless of how it is prepared i would not eat it. I know how impossible it is to completely separate yourself from contributing to the consumption of animals, even when buying vegetables from the grocery store, you are giving money to the grocery store, a huge meat supplier. But buy food from KFC? I would never support them in any way.
