    D40x was just out, now they have D60... I cannot keep up!!

    Basically same camera as the D40x with some added features like a stop-motion recording thingy. Fun function but the novelty will wear off. I hate to say this but the Canon 450D is a better buy.

    Cameras are like PCs these days. As soon as you get something you thought was top of the line, out comes a better one 6 months later.
